Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Sky Innovation SpA (RUT 77.372.286-2), a company incorporated in Chile — "we", "us" — handles information when you use Sayble, our professional-English application.

Our starting point is simple: Sayble does not ask who you are. There is no email address, no password, no phone number, and no social login.

1. Anonymous by design

When you first launch Sayble, an anonymous account is created through Firebase Authentication. This account is a random identifier — it is not linked to your email, phone number, name, or any external identity, and we have no way to connect it to you as a person.

Everything Sayble stores is associated with this anonymous identifier and exists so the app can work: your progress would otherwise be lost every time you closed it.

2. Information you provide

During onboarding and in your account settings, you may provide:

• A display name — whatever you choose to be called inside the app. It is used only so the AI conversation partners can address you naturally. It can be a nickname and does not need to be your real name.
• Learning context — your field (the area you work in) and your native language. These personalize your learning content. Onboarding also asks six short English questions to place where your practice begins; the app keeps the resulting starting level, not your answers, and the level then moves as your writing is measured. Nobody is asked to rate their own English.
• A nickname — a short handle you choose during onboarding. It is the only thing that identifies you to other learners: the members of your league see your nickname, the flag of your native language, your rank, your season XP and your league level, and nothing else about you. The nickname cannot be changed, and it is never shown alongside your display name.
• Your role and the company you are aiming for — both optional, both free text in your own words. They are shown to the AI conversation partners as context so coaching and practice interviews speak to your situation. They are never verified, Sayble stores nothing about that company beyond what you typed, and you can change or clear them at any time in Account.
• Preferences — such as your chosen narration voice, the app's appearance, and an optional difficulty setting for the material you are given.

3. Information created while you learn

• Practice content — the messages you write and say in coach chats, interviews, and writing exercises, and the evaluations generated from them. These are stored with your anonymous account so you can resume sessions and review your reports. They are never used for advertising and never sold.
• Voice recordings — when you choose to use the microphone, your audio is sent to Google's speech-to-text service to be transcribed, and the transcription is what the app keeps. Audio is processed to provide the feature, not to build voice profiles.
• Learning activity — completed exercises, streaks, and progression level.
• Subscription status — whether your trial is active or you have a Pro subscription. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
• Usage measurements — the cost of each AI generation you trigger, recorded against your anonymous account so the app can show how much energy you have left and when it refills, plus your diamond balance. We keep the measurement, not the content that produced it.
• Practice score — the XP each completed exercise earns in the current season, derived from your completed content.
• Purchase records — if you buy diamonds, we store the Apple transaction identifier, the pack purchased, and your remaining balance, so a purchase can be confirmed once and cannot be double-counted. This identifier comes from Apple and does not reveal your Apple ID, your name, or your payment method.

4. AI processing

Sayble's conversations, evaluations, translations, and grammar feedback are generated by Google AI services (Vertex AI / Gemini) on Google Cloud. The text needed for each feature — for example, the conversation so far, or the sentence you asked to translate — is sent to these services to generate the response, under Google Cloud's data-processing terms. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. Product analytics

We use PostHog to understand how Sayble is used and where it can improve — which screens are visited, where users get stuck, and whether features are working. Analytics events are associated with your anonymous identifier and include your general learning context (your field and its area, your native language), your subscription plan, your platform and app version, and how you move through the app.

Analytics never include your display name, your role, the company you are aiming for, your practice conversations, your writing, your recordings, or your evaluations.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

6. Where your data lives

Sayble runs on the following service providers, which process data solely to provide the application's functionality:

• Google Cloud Platform / Firebase (United States) — application hosting, database, and anonymous authentication.
• Google AI services (United States) — AI conversation, evaluation, translation, and speech processing.
• PostHog Inc. (United States) — product analytics.

Your information is therefore stored and processed in the United States, regardless of where you use Sayble from. These providers act as data processors under their respective data-processing agreements.

7. Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your anonymous account exists, so your progress and history remain available to you.

Deleting the app from your device leaves the anonymous account data in place, but permanently orphaned: the only credential that reaches it is the one stored on that device, so once the app is gone neither you nor anyone else can open it again. We hold no identifier that could link it back to you.

To have data erased outright, write to us at the address below. Because the account is anonymous we cannot tell whose it was, so a request has to identify the account itself, and erasure is permanent — there is no identity to verify a restoration against.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information. Because Sayble accounts are anonymous, the practical way to exercise these rights is inside the app itself: your profile is fully visible and editable in Account. For erasure and for anything else, contact us at the address below.

9. Children

Sayble is designed for working professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at https://getsayble.com/privacy. If a change meaningfully affects how your information is handled, the app will tell you.
