Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Sayble.
Sayble is a product developed and operated by Sky Innovation SpA (RUT 77.372.286-2), a company incorporated in Chile. In these Terms, "Sky Innovation" refers to that company.
By downloading, accessing, or using Sayble, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the application.
1. About Sayble
Sayble teaches professional English to people with formal training in any field — university or technical — and to anyone who wants to communicate more confidently at work.
It combines hand-written study material with AI-generated practice: one-to-one coaching conversations, simulated job interviews, speaking lessons you record yourself saying, workplace writing that is checked when you submit it, short lessons on your field, and a reference dictionary.
2. Educational purpose
Sayble is intended exclusively for educational purposes.
Although we continuously improve the quality of the learning experience, we do not guarantee specific language proficiency, certifications, employment opportunities, interview success, promotions, or professional outcomes. Learning results depend on each individual user.
Sayble can issue a certificate of written English once your own writing in the app shows a level. It describes that written production — the level as a CEFR range, and the texts, words and period it was measured from — and anyone can check it at getsayble.com/verify with the code it carries. Sayble measures with the criteria IELTS and TOEFL use for writing, but the certificate is not an official examination result, is not issued by or affiliated with the owners of those examinations, and says nothing about speaking, listening or reading. The name on it is the one you enter; Sayble does not verify it.
3. Artificial intelligence
Some features of Sayble are powered by artificial intelligence provided through Google Cloud AI services.
AI-generated responses, explanations, recommendations, corrections, translations, and other generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unexpected results. Users should exercise their own judgment when relying on AI-generated content.
4. AI translations
The educational content within Sayble is primarily created in English.
To improve accessibility, Sayble can automatically translate learning content into the user's selected native language using artificial intelligence. Automatic translations are generated by AI and may not always be accurate or perfectly reflect the intended meaning. Whenever possible, the original English content should be considered the primary learning reference.
5. User account
Sayble uses anonymous authentication to create a unique user profile. Your learning progress, achievements, preferences, subscription status, and other application settings are associated with this anonymous identifier.
The credential that opens your anonymous account is kept in your device's keychain and, where iCloud Keychain is turned on, in sync across your Apple devices, so removing and reinstalling the app brings the same account back. Deleting the account inside the app erases it for good, and resetting a device that does not use iCloud Keychain can leave it impossible to recover. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device.
6. Free trial and subscription
Sayble offers a free trial. It starts automatically on first use, requires no payment information, and does not convert into a paid subscription by itself. The trial lasts 10 days from first use. The app shows the exact moment it ends, in your local time.
Each device can start one free trial: a device that has already used one does not receive another, even under a new account. Apple's DeviceCheck service tells us whether a device has used its trial, without identifying you.
The trial gives you access to the app's learning features with the same weekly energy as a paid subscription, described in section 7. The trial cannot purchase diamonds (section 8).
After the trial ends, continued access to premium learning features — including AI-powered coaching, interviews, writing feedback, and related functionality — requires Sayble Pro, an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system:
- Sayble Pro Monthly — billed monthly.
- Sayble Pro Quarterly — billed every 3 months.
- Sayble Pro Annual — billed yearly.
The exact price of each option is always displayed inside the app before purchase, in your local currency as determined by the App Store. A reduced price — an introductory one for your first month, or one offered to keep or bring back your subscription — applies only for the period stated before you accept it; the subscription then renews at its regular price.
Sayble Pro is not an unlimited plan. It is subject to the energy described in section 7.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are managed by Apple according to Apple's policies.
If your subscription expires or is cancelled:
- Your account remains available.
- Your learning history and profile are preserved.
- Premium features and AI functionality may become unavailable until your subscription is restored.
7. Energy (fair use)
Both the trial and Sayble Pro include energy — a weekly usage allowance for the live practice — rather than unlimited use:
- Your energy renews in full at the start of each season — every Monday at 00:00 UTC — and is the same on the trial and on Sayble Pro. Energy left at the end of a season does not carry over to the next one.
- An interview round, a conversation with the coach and each check of a written text use a fixed amount of energy: the same for everyone and at all times, and shown in the app before you start. The coach's amount is taken when you start a conversation, whose greeting is free, and again only when you choose to continue it past a block.
- Lessons and the measurement of your English level use no energy.
- A conversation with the coach runs in blocks of a fixed number of your messages, shown in the app before you start and counted down as you write. A block ends when its messages run out or when you finish it earlier; finishing early ends the messages left in that block. After a block ends you may continue the same conversation or start a new one; either uses energy again, and the app shows how much before you do.
The app always shows how much energy you have left, in whole units, together with when it renews.
Energy is taken when an activity starts and is not returned if you leave it early; an interview round you have already started, or a coach block that is still open, can be continued without using more. When your energy cannot cover an activity, that activity waits until your energy renews, unless you choose to recharge it with a diamond (section 8). This is not a suspension of your account and nothing is lost: your profile, progress, history, saved sessions, reports, and previously generated content remain available, and lessons remain usable.
The weekly amount of energy and the amount each activity uses are service parameters, not a fixed quantity sold to you, and we may adjust them. If we change them in a way that materially affects normal use, we will give notice before the change takes effect, and you may cancel your subscription as described in section 6. We size the energy so that ordinary practice is not interrupted; it exists to prevent abnormal or automated consumption, not to ration normal learning.
8. Diamonds
A diamond fills your energy to the weekly amount. You can use one only when your energy is low, at the level the app marks as low, which always includes the moment your energy cannot cover an activity. Before a diamond is spent, the app shows what it adds and when your energy next refills on its own. Anyone who has subscribed to Sayble Pro may purchase diamonds in packs, a consumable In-App Purchase available in several amounts. Diamonds are not required to use Sayble, and no feature is reachable only through them.
- The price and the number of diamonds in every pack are displayed in the app before purchase, in your local App Store currency.
- Diamonds do not expire.
- A diamond is spent only when you confirm a recharge while your energy is low, one whole diamond at a time. Nothing spends a diamond on its own.
- We may grant a small number of diamonds at no charge — for example when you first subscribe. Granted diamonds behave exactly like purchased ones.
- Spending diamonds requires an active trial or Sayble Pro subscription. If your subscription lapses, any remaining balance is retained and becomes spendable again when the subscription is restored. Diamonds bought while it has lapsed are kept the same way: they can be spent once it is restored.
- Diamonds are not money, carry no cash value, cannot be transferred, exchanged, or withdrawn, and are not a stored-value or payment instrument.
All payments, including diamond purchases, are processed by Apple. Requests for refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
9. Seasons, leagues and AI rivals
Sayble groups practice into seasons of seven days, Monday to Sunday (UTC). Each completed exercise earns season points (XP), and learners are placed in a league of ten seats with others of their league level, whatever language they speak at home. At the end of a season the top seats move up a league, the bottom seats move down, and everyone starts the next season fresh. In the first league nobody moves down, and in the highest league the top seats keep their place instead of moving up. Leagues measure completed practice only; they never grade your English.
- Inside a league you are shown to the other members by the nickname you chose during onboarding, together with the name of your native language, your season XP and your league level. Your display name, your field and everything else stay private. The nickname is chosen once and cannot be changed; the language shown follows the native language set in your account.
- League seats not taken by other learners are filled by AI rivals — automated participants that practise at a pace comparable to the group's. They hold no account and no data, and they leave as learners join.
- League standings, promotions and demotions carry no reward beyond the league itself: no diamonds, no energy, no discount.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the application for unlawful purposes.
- Choose a nickname that is sexual, hateful or offensive — including slurs and insults, the name or praise of a dictator or of anyone known for mass killings, and references to drugs or to being drunk or high. An automated review checks every nickname before it is kept, and after several refused nicknames in a row you wait a few minutes before trying another.
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the service.
- Abuse or overload AI-powered features.
- Reverse engineer, copy, reproduce, redistribute, or modify the application.
- Attempt to access information belonging to other users.
- Use Sayble in any manner that may negatively affect other users or the availability of the service.
11. Third-party services
To provide its functionality, Sayble relies on trusted third-party cloud services, including:
- Google Cloud Platform
- Firebase
- Google Vertex AI and Google AI services
- PostHog (product analytics)
- Resend (delivery of support emails)
- Apple (In-App Purchase, DeviceCheck and iCloud Keychain)
Some information required to operate the application may be processed through these services. By using Sayble, you acknowledge that certain application data may be processed by these providers solely to deliver the requested functionality. How this data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Service availability
We continuously improve Sayble. However, the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, software updates, infrastructure failures, internet connectivity issues, or interruptions affecting third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
13. Intellectual property
Sayble is a product developed and owned by Sky Innovation SpA, which has applied to register the Sayble trademark in Chile (application SM1175401, INAPI).
All software, source code, application architecture, user interface, educational content, learning materials, graphics, illustrations, branding, trademarks, logos, documentation, AI prompts, workflows, designs, and all other intellectual property associated with Sayble are owned by Sky Innovation or are used under appropriate licenses.
Nothing in these Terms grants users ownership of any intellectual property rights related to Sayble. Users may use the application solely for its intended educational purpose.
Copying, reproducing, modifying, redistributing, reverse engineering, reselling, publishing, or creating derivative works from any part of the application without prior written authorization from Sky Innovation is prohibited.
The names Sayble, Sky Innovation, and their associated visual identities may not be used without prior written permission.
Educational content may refer to third-party products, services or companies by name (for example, when explaining what a technology is or who created it). Those names are trademarks of their respective owners, are used only for factual description, and do not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from their owners.
Interview practice names no company. The interviewers are fictional characters, the situations are generated, and nothing in a practice round represents, predicts, or guarantees anything about a real hiring process. Sayble does not issue a hiring decision and does not tell you whether you would be hired.
You may tell Sayble, in your own words, the role you hold or seek and the kind of company you are aiming for. That text is yours: Sayble stores nothing about any company beyond the words you typed, does not verify them, and uses them only to shape your practice. Naming a company in your settings creates no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from that company, and the AI conversation partners do not represent it, do not speak on its behalf, and do not conduct an interview for it or on its process. Anything they say about a company you named reflects your own description and is not a statement of fact about that company. You are responsible for the text you enter, and you may change or clear it at any time.
14. Disclaimer

15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sky Innovation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use Sayble.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available at https://getsayble.com/terms. Your continued use of the application after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
